Yayasan Tuanku Canselor (YTC) has received RM30K from Bank Rakyat and RM5K from Yayasan Pahang Plantation Holding (YPPH). The RM35K was the earliest contribution received by YTC since its official establishment in January 2020. The contributions made by the corporate bodies potray their great concern over education.
According to the YTC Director, Ustaz Ahmad Fared Bin Mohd Din, the foundation is very grateful with the contributions. The recipients are the B40 and asnaf students from University College of Yayasan Pahang (UCYP), Kolej Yayasan Pahang (KYP) Smart Tahfiz and the native people program students from PePIMA (Penyelaras Pembangunan Insaniah Masyarakat Asli – PePIMA), or previously known as PETAMA.
YTC is the brainchild of UCYP Cancellor, the Queen of Malaysia – Her Majesty Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah binti Almarhum Al-Mutawakkil Alallah Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj. The establishement of Yayasan Tuanku Canselor was announced by Her Majesty during the UCYP Chancellor Proclamation and Convocation in Mac 2018.
“We would like to encourage more donors to come forward. The contributions could be in any forms – cash, services, courses, trainings, etc. that enable the students to pursue their studies and most importantly to make realize their dreams.
In addition to that, Ahmad Fared emphasizes that the fund from the contributions will be utilized for the KYP Education Sdn. Bhd. (KESB) students’ welfare and educational enhancement program. The establishment of YTC offers greater access to quality education especially to the highly potential students who are financially incapable,”added him.
Thank you very much to Bank Rakyat and Yayasan Pahang Plantation Holding for the opportunity given to Yayasan Tuanku Canselor recipients.
Contributions can be made to UCYP Yayasan Tuanku Canselor account at 11-113-201189-1 (Bank Rakyat).
